New Work from Illustrator Paul Rogers

Posted on

Illustrator Paul Rogers continues to deliver standout work for a wide range of clients, bringing his distinctive storytelling and graphic clarity to music, culture, and literary projects.

Rogers was honored to design the official poster for the 2026 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (featured), marking his fourth JazzFest poster for what he considers the greatest music festival on earth. The artwork commemorates the 125th anniversary of Louis Armstrong’s birth, depicting Armstrong riding a St. Charles streetcar alongside contemporary greats Jon Batiste, Trombone Shorty, and Treme Brass Band members Benny Jones and “Uncle” Lionel Batiste.

He also created an illustration for an article by Lynell George exploring the history of the World Stage in Leimert Park, published in Alta Journal with art direction by John Goecke.

Additionally, Rogers illustrated the January/February cover of The Literary Review of Canada. Speaking about his inspiration, he noted: “It seems that some brave Canadians celebrate the New Year with a Polar Bear Plunge, a jump into an icy lake or ocean.”
