It’s probably safe to say we’re all familiar with the painting on which Dana Hursey‘s latest project is based: the kitsch masterpiece Dogs Playing Poker by Cassius Marcellus Cooolidge. But it’s still fun to read about what goes into creating a photographic rendition of the famous painting: professional “talent,” top notch animal trainers, and a whole lot of patience, just for starters.
