Editorial and Advertising Imagery is a Reflection of Our World

Posted on

Sally Heflin shared just some of her illustrators’ most interesting assignments and had this to say about 2019:

“Illustration artists are applied artists, and what strikes me most about this body of work, as I’m sure will be evident in other agencies’ presentations, is how it reflects where we are as a society. We are not journalists, but we are asked to make even more relevant what editors, art directors, and marketing executives feel are the most relevant concerns and messages of our time. We are so honored to be asked to create artwork for these assignments, and we look forward to another fruitful and challenging year in 2020. Happy New Year!” Sally Heflin of heflinreps.com.
