If there is gift promotion for a major brands like Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, or Tiffany, chances are Michael Pallozzi had something to do with it. In some cases he’s designing everything, beginning at the concept stage and then creating models and renderings to present his ideas to clients. In other cases, clients have a rough or fairly precise idea of what they want, and Michael is called in to refine the structure and create 3D renderings for them to present internally. Once approved, they go straight into production.
For a 2019 holiday promotion for Daisy by Marc Jacobs, his client had her options roughly worked out, so Michael developed the structures and refined the proportions to build wireframes, to which he added textures, surfaces, lighting, etc. to render photorealistic images of a product, in order to gain executive approval, market and sales buy-in, and to develop costing from potential manufacturers.
In the end, the client went with option number one, but it’s the the story behind how they got there that’s most useful to any creative who wants to offer their clients the option to create beautiful custom promotions.
