Illustrator Joe McKendry created a striking foldout cover for the November issue of The Atlantic’s special issue commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Joe embraced the challenge of a large-scale oil painting, bringing history to life with rich detail and dynamic composition. The project was captured beautifully by We Are Wave Collective, highlighting both the final artwork and the creative process behind it.
