Ashlley Duarte was born in Managua, Nicaragua and moved to the U.S. at an early age. This unique traveling experience, coupled with her diverse industry exposure gained during her time spent living and shooting on both the West and East Coasts, has inspired in her a resiliency and strength of character, which is evident in her work, as well as her on-set persona. Early on, it was in her high school darkroom where Ashlley began honing her personal passion for capturing moments of human connection. While putting herself through college, she worked with Time Out Chicago and assisted established photographers both in the Chicago and New York markets. Her 13 years of photography and video experience has taught her how to express herself creatively in order to push the cultural and technical limits of beauty photography. In her free time Ashlley plays classical piano and loves to write creatively.

Gui Soares is I Chase Balloons: all around visualista & mind bender In one of the most romantic neighborhoods of Rio, he learned from his paternal grandfather, an industrial designer, what was a pencil, a drawing board, and a set square. In his first sketches, he followed in the style of comic books. He grew up listening to music - from opera to Tropicália - and became intimate with the rhythms of drums and percussion. His mother's Heirloom. A family thing. Belief. Identity. Very shy, he used drawing and music as a bridge to connect with people. As a son of parents who always encouraged him and his brothers and sisters to be everything they could be, Gui became an illustrator and a balloon chaser. He illustrated comic books and designed walls for offices. Sometimes he thought about being an artist, but majored in Industrial Design instead. Ended up in advertising. Lost the joy in the work, yet rediscovered his passion, his hand, his style in drawing. Dreams big even when he's awake and keeps chasing balloons. Will keep on it til the day he dies. Today he lives in São Paulo and plans to conquer the world. To make things better for everyone. As he learned from a young age, from Grandpa Josué, right there at good ol' Cachambi.
