Dean MacAdam
During the course of Dean’s career, while living in the US and Sweden, he has worked with some pretty amazing advertising agencies, magazines, publishers, and toy companies. Some notable assignments include creating exclusive branding and character designs for Purina, Hasbro, and Burger King. From 2003-2007, Dean was a featured contributing artist each month for Disney publications. More recently in 2012, he collaborated with a Seattle-based, programmer phenom (Juraj Hlavac) and the New York Times technology editor (Bob Tedeshi), in which they created an interactive educational app experience that gained critical acclaim worldwide and the prestigious 2012 Apple Design award, among others.
Lee Brimble
Lee Brimble has a serious love for cars. He works both in the studio and out on location to capture vehicles in a fresh and exciting way. Lee combines his knowledge and skills to shoot both moving image and direct motion for clients.
David Mahoney
David Mahoney is a British freelance illustrator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Since 2010, David has worked with a wide range of Fortune 500 companies. David believes keeping tradition alive is important in an increasingly digital age. He specializes in the merging of traditional mediums and digital applications. This method of creating his illustration allows his work to be animated, a style often used in digital editorial magazines.
In 2014, David opened his first solo exhibition at the Coningsby Gallery, London, titled ‘Black + White’: a series of animated portraits of twenty leading individuals created in squid ink and watercolor. In 2013, David was awarded the 99U Scholarship by the Samsung Accelerator and 99U for his illustrative work.
Carioca Studio
Carioca offers integrated services, from photography, illustration, CGI, and post production to locations, casting, hair and makeup artists, set construction, and mockups. The world-renowned photography concept house is currently ranked number two in the world for CGi by Lürzer’s Archive and is highly acclaimed for its work specializing in conceptual CGI advertising imagery.
Carioca was founded in 2005 by artists Dragos Coman, Andrei Stoleru, and Dragos Traistaru, all photographers with fine art and advertising backgrounds. They always have a strong vision about each new project they are involved in; Carioca start with a big idea and bring their own vision and execution from concept to shooting to post production.
Eric Stein
As a creative director on the agency side, Eric Stein has years of experience leading award-winning creative initiatives for global ad agencies and brands. He infuses these storytelling and conceptual skills into his unique photography aesthetic with the intent of creating a deeper involvement between image and viewer. Eric explains: “My value add to the collaborative process is to present ‘what-if’ approaches, a fanaticism to detail, and alternative points of view beyond the basic assignment.”
Fian Arroyo
Fian Arroyo, with his creative mind and quick draw, has been creating award-winning illustrations and character designs for his clients, including many Fortune 500 companies, in the advertising, editorial, toy and game, and publishing markets for over 20 years. His dynamic and fun digital illustrations keep his work apart from being just another pretty picture. The quality of his art, being fun to work with, and the fact that he works at the speed of light, getting his projects done on time, have kept him in demand and pretty busy.
Ewelina Dymek
Fashion illustrator Ewelina Dymek creates stunning fashion imagery using a mixture of black ink and monochromatic grey pencils. A self-proclaimed art and fashion nerd, she illustrates key Fashion Week Couture runway looks each season. She passionately appreciates good design, surrounding herself with inspiring images in her Polish studio from where she creates a multitude of mixed-media fashion illustrations.
Paul Price
Paul commenced his art career as a graffiti artist in Liverpool, followed by a degree in graphic design and advertising in both Liverpool and Buckinghamshire. He then spent 4 years at MacUser magazine, where he received awards for his Art Direction, including Best Designed Business Magazine in the Total Publishing Awards. He has spent the last 16 years working as a freelance creative director and illustrator. He has worked with clients on widely differing projects, from CDs, posters, book covers, brochures, packaging, branding, fine art, and magazines.
Paul has been featured in various design and art magazines. His work has also appeared in illustration books, and he has given talks on his style, techniques, and inspiration.
Greg Coulton
Illustrator Greg Coulton’s philosophy is “the devil is in the detail,” which pretty much defines everything he does. Intricate and multi-layered, his hand-drawn illustrations are driven by the principles of good communication design, honed during 12 years designing in London dd agencies. Whether he’s creating brand stories or artwork for packaging, portraits, or album covers, the art of storytelling is at the heart of his work. Add to this his traditional draftmanship skills and love of exuberant, Baroque-inspired flourishes, the end result is unique illustrations that are meticulously detailed with enchanting narratives.
