Photographer/Director Ryan Ketterman finalized his film, Window of Opportunity, with Cowford Conservation, a 501c3 charity with a passion for preserving the outdoor heritage of North Florida.
The film focuses on the organization’s founders, whose love of flood tide fly fishing is ecologically threatened by the imbalance of salt water and freshwater. The deepening of the river for shipping traffic allows too much salt water into the estuary and blocking of freshwater sources upstream holds back too much freshwater, and as a result, species of plants and fish have been disappearing.
