Photographer Scott Van Osdol captures the energy and ingenuity of STEM education for Advanced Micro Devices’s internal communications and social media highlighting the intersection of mentorship and technical innovation for AMD’s STEM initiatives.
As AMD employees help students assemble dozens of parts into working solar-powered race cars, Scott captures the collaborative spirit between employees and students as they navigate complex assemblies. Each part of the event and the constructed cars have to work smoothly with all the others, much like the cutting-edge computer chips AMD designs and produces. The event leaves the students with good lessons for life, work and play.
