Lucy Davey illustrated “30 Weekend Walks London” for Pocket Mountains, written by Parick Kinsella. This is an exciting release after several years in the making.
Lucy has been a freelance illustrator since 2005 after graduating from UWE Bristol. Since then she has created illustrations and lettering for nearly two hundred book covers as well as many images for editorial, packaging and advertising. Her versatile style has appeared on everything from a postage stamp to a billboard in Times Square. Lucy’s work seeks to combine the contemporary and the classic, using flat color, limited palettes and grainy textures to create bold and colorful illustrations for a wide variety of commissions.
