“This is one of my favorite illustrations of the year because I always wanted to work with the Wall Street Journal. In this specific case, the article talked about how the more you advance in your career, the more you are alone.”

"The was the fifth Josephine Tey novel I've illustrated for the Folio society, and each one of them has been a pleasure to work on. The tone of her writing fits well with my approach, and the freedom I get from art director Sheri Gee seems to get the best out of me every time. The work I've done for them over the years is some of the work I'm most proud of, and this project was no different." Mark Smith
"My favorite project of 2019 is the illustrations I made for the 2020 season of the Santa Fe Opera House. This series includes a main, iconic illustration of the theater and one for each of the five represented plays: The Barber of Seville, M. Butterfly, Tristan and Isolde, Rusalka and the Magic Flute."  Benedetto Cristofani
"Being asked by the New York Times to create covers for the two biggest art happenings in NYC in 2019 is beyond an honor. As a New York-based artist, making art about art for the annual Armory Show and Art Fair and the reopening of MoMA with a huge expansion, will be hard to beat." Jeff Hinchee

"My favorite mix is of portrait, historical subjects, international culture, politics, and a touch of conceptual humor: 'Karl Marx Is Coming Back' for L’Espresso magazine, Feb. 2019" Ivan Canu
Client: GQ Magazine - "Are Superfoods Really All That Super?" "I love to explain even complex stories and concepts in a minimal way, eliminating all the unnecessary elements from the composition." Giulio Bonasera
"This is one of three images created for the Mayo Clinic and one of the 2019 projects that I most enjoyed working on: representing life and optimism as seen through the eyes of the Mayo Clinic brand." Joey Guidone
Client: Aschehoug Publishing "I love drawing nature. The more trees the better. So when this commission for all about what goes on in the the forest, I couldn’t say no. :)" Øivind Hovland
Personal Project - "Cool Beans" "My favorite project this year is Cool Beans, an animated film about a sloth who drops into a café and has an existential crisis." Michael Dimilo
Client: Brandman University
"The project is part of a larger advertising campaign started in 2017 and consists of static images and short animated videos, illustrating their academic programs focused on technology education, marriage and family therapy, child psychology, nursing, etc. It's been exciting to work on this project as it gave me the opportunity to deal with very interesting issues and to work with a great team." Davide Bonazzi
