Coming from a family of architects and engineers, Fredinko has a some «Escher» inside: areas on his canvas tend to be divided up as regularly as possible without empty spaces – his sustainable way of using a canvas. But his art also contains an opposite side: his inner and rebellious child fights geometric shapes. So ,Fredinko’s art became a mix of strict geometry and free organic shapes, a compromise between father and son, so to speak, but always with the aim of maintaining harmony – letting shapes flow harmoniously into one another. Fredinko became known for his live performances, where he adorns big canvases with his peculiar drawings and makes the audience help him paint.
In love with both pop art and cubism, he calls his style «neocubism».
Fredinko works and lives in Zurich, Switzerland.
