In addition to publishing their yearly calendar, Mendola Artists has created a micro podcast called Moments with Mendola in which they spend a minute of unscripted time asking participating illustrators about themselves and their work.
January illustrator Kirsten Ulve kicked things off. She’s an award-winning New York City-based illustrator, who blends crisp conceptual designs with her endless sense of fun. Her work has appeared on everything from magazine covers and international ad campaigns to animated cartoons and tv commercials, and just about everything else. And she’s a master of capturing the essence of a personality with her GIFs.
