Workbook photographers traveled from from Berlin to Guadalajara and plenty of places in between in 2019 shooting stills and motions for their clients.

Client: Hilton Midtown Guadalajara. "This project was very special because it was a brand new hotel, and our images were going to be responsible for helping the hotel and the Hilton brand position it in the marketplace. We flew down to Guadalajara on two separate occasions, first prior to the hotel opening, to provide them with the first images of the actual hotel. The second time was after the official opening of the hotel and every decor detail was in place. As with any brand new building, all angles are potentially the best angle, but you can't take them all, so you have to make a choice, the right choice! Before 2019 ended, I already received two international awards so far for the photography we produced for this hotel!" Victor Elias
Client: Gillette-NFL "This shoot was pulled together very quickly. We shot video and stills. With great talent and good continuous lighting, we were able to get still life, video, and studio lifestyle all in one day!" Joshua Dalsimer
"My favorite campaign from the year was shot right at the beginning of 2019 for commercial fishing apparel brand Grundens. For the shoot we were on board on a salmon fishing boat for two days as they fished the islands around Puget Sound, Washington. Loved the challenge of working on board a working small fishing boat and documenting their job while not interfering with their work. And was super fortunate to be able to get in the water a couple of times to shoot some over/ under images that showed what was going on beneath the surface." Ian Coble
Client: Maryland Lottery
"This was a job with GKV agency and LuLu Productions called “Dreamer." This was such an amazing campaign where we did a week long road trip across the state. It was a man-on-the-street campaign finding real people who have played the lottery and wanted to be in the commercial. Who wouldn’t like to travel around with a great team and meet and photograph great people?" Paul Aresu
"This project with Mel-Fry and Marlin Co. required a lot of technical and meticulous work to ensure an amazing end product. We enjoyed the work so much that we put together an animation to show off the process of how we composed the four stills for packaging." Ralph Smith
“What I love most about this campaign is that it’s a jarring realization that the Meth epidemic affects all of us in our communities, and this project shows that it’s a community problem.” Andy Anderson
Client: Rotary International
Title: Heroes of Polio Eradication (HoPE) "This was one of my favorites of 2019 because the shoot was a big departure for me as a still photographer and transition to motion work. It was my first project as a producer/director. I researched the story and characters. I worked with a local production company in Delhi, India. The video was for a international Facebook premiere for Rotary International’s World Polio Day 2019 event." Alyce Henson
"This was a personal project with Christina Zerkis and Lindsey Parker and my favorite of 2019. The inspiration for this came from wanting to shoot a monochromatic bagel spread, highlighting the beautiful color of the lox. Christina and I explained our idea to Lindsey, and she had the perfect plates to complete the look we were going for. I love collaborating with these talented ladies. It’s so fun when all of our ideas come together!" Kate Cauffiel
"One of the organizations closest to my heart is Sit, Stay, Read. I am so thankful to work with them and to have the opportunity to photograph my favorite subjects: kids and animals." Andrea Mandel
"This was a creative test shoot early in 2019 when Sarah, Nicole, and Kayla asked me to jump on board last minute for a beauty idea they had in mind. I'm still in awe how every element of this shoot just worked perfectly; what a dream team." Emily Sandifer
