In the most basic terms, Andrei Duman clicks a button to capture a split second in time. In a more complex way, is a highly detail oriented and technical photographer with a fanatical approach to composition, color, execution and technique. Be it capturing the jumpers of Vanuatu Islands, a car shoot for Aston Martin Logonda or the latest Nike Kobe shoes, He is relying on over 18 years of photography experience to meticulously execute the vision of the client in the highest resolution possible, on time and on budget. As an ambassador to Phase One cameras, he is creating his work on the world’s most advanced camera system, with 151 mega pixels at his disposal to tell a story with each image produced.

When not on a client shoot, he can be found in his custom built studio working on multiple projects in different stages of production and experimentation. Creatively envisioning concepts for a shoot and problem solving real time issues to successfully achieve that shoot are one of his favorite and most rewarding things to do. Trying to create something different, repeatedly testing it and finding solutions to complicated technical challenges allows him to stay creatively sharp and continue to produce exclusively unique campaigns for his clients.

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Susan and their 2 cats – Foo and Smash. He is a proud Field Instructor and Ambassador for Phase One Cameras, SanDisk Professional, Broncolor US, Eizo Monitors and f-stop for which he is the host for their webinars- f-Stop Gear Webinars (Knowledge Labs).

Being outside, traveling, and telling great stories are Nolan Matthews' true passions. Like most, his path to being a freelance photographer was not a straight one. He spent over 10 years in the business world, mostly working in finance in New York City. After leaving NYC he and his wife  spent a full year traveling the world and he eventually stepped into the world of photography in 2020. Since starting my career as a photographer, he has worked with clients all over the country in an array of industries including retail, hospitality, travel, design, and agriculture to name a few. he specializes in adventure, travel, and lifestyle work, but is certainly not limited. In addition to photography, He shoots motion and is a certified drone pilot who loves capturing perspectives from the air. While he will always be a storyteller first, he is also driven to be an important strategic partner to his clients and to help them solve their problems. Having come from a life on “the other side” he brings a unique and differentiated perspective to the table in that regard. As a creative, he strives to make his work honest, authentic, and natural. He is passionate about what he does  and tells us he is truly up for anything. The more adventurous the project, the better. He is always excited to plan that next trip but thrives in a clean, corporate environments when the situation calls for it :). When not behind his camera he is probably on his small farm in rural Maryland with his wife and two dogs.
John Emerson is an environmental portrait photographer with over twenty years of professional experience.  After assisting top photographers in New York City for five years, Emerson opened his doors for business in a modest studio on the west side of NYC. Specializing in richly lit portraiture both in studio and on location, Emersons strongest attribute is in finding and making something beautiful and interesting out of locations that often times have very little to offer.  Since opening his doors in the 90's,  Emerson has traveled all over the United States for many prominent clients for both advertising and editorial work (see client list below).  In addition to his advertising and editorial work, Emerson is currently working on a personal project in the Catskill Mountains of New York where he lives part time and has an intense love for the region, it's beauty, and the people that live there. John is married and has four wonderful daughters and two crazy dogs.
For R. Brad Knipstein, one of the greatest pleasures in life is producing images for his clients. He is  always looking forward to the next collaboration and the chance to create unforgettable images as well as memories.
