Where clients are concerned, photographer Robert Deutschman readily admits that normally his job is to reinterpret their concepts without straying too far from the original layouts. But as Rob tells us, “When I was asked by Docler Media to come up with 10 stories about women in 10 different careers and was told there were no rules, no concepts, just tell the stories any way about anyone I want, it was a dream come true.” Over the course of three months, Rob and his in-house production team created the IT GIRL project. It began with the typical casting process but through word-of-mouth also led them to some very talented women, who inspired Rob to create images that were unique to each individual woman’s story, while staying true to his photographic style. The success of this project would not have been possible without his talented wardrobe stylist, hair and makeup team, and the amazing set designer who worked with Rob throughout the entire project.
